Uncle Bills Year to Plan - 2011

Easter this coming year (2011) is April 24... About as late as it ever can be. (the 25th is the lastest!) We are hoping for Warm Spring weather on the desert! WHERE ARE WE GOING? Ask Uncle Bill... he is in charge this year. Jordan School District has Thurs. Friday & Monday off this year so the earliest we could go is WED. and we will be staying till Monday. Let us know your plans... If you have any weddings, births, etc since last year... post the pictures or send them to Ann (annmason7@gmail.com) or Mary Dean (marydean@trilobyte.net) and we will get them posted.

Get off I-70 - exit 49 - highway 24,(Hanksville/Goblin Valley exit). Turn NORTH for 1.1 miles to the campsite on the right. There will be a sign. (It's 10.6 miles west of the last Green River exit.)

EASTER!!!

It's that time of year again. Time to get together to talk, play, eat, hike, ride 4-wheelers, laugh, sing, explore, etc. etc. But most of all to reflect on all that Christ has done for us and made it possible for us to come together and celebrate his life.

I sent an email out a while ago. Hopefully, those who need a motel to stay in have already arranged for it. If not I will put some of the phone numbers and prices so you can take care of that.

Walt and I rode down a couple of weeks ago to Green River to check everything out. It looks great. You could tell that water had washed through there but all the roads were fine. It's just waiting for us to bring the trailers down and invade the area with our happy crew..

It's at the same place as last year. I'll put a few directions just for a refresher. It's 10.6 miles west of the last Green River exit. Get off I-70 westbound, exit 49-highway 24, turn right or north for 1.1 miles to the campsite on the right. There will be a sign.

SATURDAY MORNING - 10:00 am

For the Easter egg hunt, each of the 7 families can just take care of their own hunt. We are getting so big that it's hard to be all together in 1 group. If you want to combine with other families, that's fine, however you want to do it. I think our family will do the hunt before 10:00 am so some can go to the motel and watch General Conference.

There will be horseshoes set up and a few other games that can be played on Saturday.

Erin will be available to take pictures of families. Let her know and she can take it anytime except after church. (They need to leave)

Saturday night: Camp fire -- Singing and smores

Sunday Church Service: 10:00 am - We want to wish Uncle Clyde a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY on this special Easter Morning!!

EASTER CAMP DATES APRIL 1st - 7th

The Stringham-Pritchett Reunion will stay with the traditional days, and will be extended for those who have the following week off and those who want to camp for a week! We will be celebrating Uncle Clyde's 84th Birthday on Easter Sunday. (I wonder if there will be SNOW like last time)

EASTER 2010 - Can we Change the Date? from Julie

Hi there Ann,
It's our turn to do Easter this year. I have been checking different school calendars throughout the state for April and noticed that alot of the schools are off the week after Easter. I was wondering if there would be a big uproar if we had the Easter camping on the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th of April. Alot of the kids would have the 5th through the 9th off, and then the weekend. I don't have all the email addresses of everyone on my computer, could you please just send this out to everyone to see what the response is?
